Squirrel -
Gathering. Squirrel, in preparing for winter, gathers only what it needs.
This medicine teaches us to discard not only unnecessary physical objects
but also those negative beliefs, which limit our trust in love and
abundance.
Squirrels make their homes in tree trunks or a burrow in
the ground. Ground squirrels have about 3 to 7 babies in the
spring. The baby squirrels enjoy eating flower buds and some plant
roots. Squirrels take care of their young for about 3 months then
the babies are ready to go off on their own to claim their own territory
and start a family. |
