Animal Spirits, Fetishes & Totems
All animals
have unique characteristics and behaviors that help them survive in their
natural environment. The belief that each animal approaches life in
its own way offers us a chance to study their ways so that we might begin
to live our lives in a manner that is more in tune with nature.
Studying the traits,
habitats, and surroundings of any animal can give one an insight into its
spiritual significance.
Many cultures
have studied and honored the animal spirit expressed in and through the animal kingdom
of our planet. When we realize that learning and guidance can come from sources
other than human, our world becomes full of growth and possibilities.

traditional Native American and Celtic teachings.
